My best friend is gay. I think he fancies me.

Just found out that my best mate is gay. We've known each other since we were kids and we are now both in our thirties. Iv'e noticed over the past year or two that he has become more sort of camp and he has been going out on the weekends with some new mates. I have chose to not question him too much about what he gets upto as I have come to suspect that he was gay before he told me. He only came out with the truth after he jokingly mentioned that all men had a gay side and that if I wanted to experiment he would gladly oblige. I laughed it off and then he told me that he was gay. To be honest I'm not sure how to handle this as I still want to be friends.

I think you have to be 'straight' with him and tell him how you feel i.e. you want to be friends and that's all. You'll both know where you stand then.

Well, if he's truly your friend, be there for him by supporting him, and don't push him away. Also, be sure to tell him that you don't swing that way. Give him a nice pat on the back when you do, so he doesn't feel hurt.
