Day 295
(Proverbs 27:11) My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him who reproaches me.
Parents want to be proud of their children. When people come against their children they stand up for their children and deny the accusations against them.
Solomon said it made the parent’s hearts glad to rebuke anyone who came against their children without cause.
As Christians, you know Satan will do everything he can to discredit you and your children. Everything your child does will come under attack. Your best defense against Satan’s accusations is to know your child. When you teach him right from wrong with love as your driving force, he will not disappoint you. He will make you proud and your heart glad.
Let’s pray: Father, make my heart glad, knowing Satan can’t touch my children. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
