Good evening. No, you didn't miss the morning brief. I've been busy.
I'm thankful for a good night's sleep and getting up early. Yes, I was up by 3:30.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Where Eagles Soar before and after the exercise class. I spent most of the day working on it.
I'm thankful for the little dog in the picture. Her name is Twinky. She came to visit and get used to me as I will be dog-sitting next week for three days. I'm looking forward to it. We got along fine. She even met the dog next door when I took her out for a few minutes. They got along well.
I'm thankful for the new recipe I made today. Lentil Shepherd's Pie. It turned out perfect with minor adjustments to the ingredients to make it compatible with my diet. I'll need to take a picture of it before I finish it off.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this afternoon. I don't normally take an afternoon nap as I have trouble getting to sleep at night when I do. It was an hour and was what I needed.
Okay, that's my day. My son called a short while ago with a demand. I need to be at his place on Mother's Day by 1 PM. You know I will be there.

Even though it took upwards of four hours, I'm thankful we went to the presentation we agreed to Tuesday. It was well worth it. Though I am not used to being in my chair for that long. I am also thankful it detailed our plans for the day. Because that meant George only had to pull my chair out once today.

@just4him George is all kinds of confused. But, what it boils down to, for a small yearly fee (after we pay off the plan) we'll get free hotel stays for life. Given we don't do much now that George's retired, this gives us access to things we could never imagine.

I think I love Twinky already! I’m so glad you get to pet sit, and especially for such a precious dog (although I guess all dogs are pretty much precious).
This afternoon I got to see my niece Amyra, so I am thankful for that. She and my sister had to be in town for Amyra’s competition tomorrow so they are spending the night with my dad and his wife.

Hello Twinky, how have you been? I hope you will behave come next week when the Good Human, Valerie, who will dog-sit you.
You have many blessings and that's fantastic.
I took am thankful for my granddaughter who is beside me laughing heartily at some videos. I am thankful that no one is sick and everyone is busy doing their own stuff.
I am thankful I have reached my goal on MyLot and will be achieving more in the coming days.
I am thankful I would be able to watch my favorite K-drama later
I am thankful I could listen to my favorite pop band, BTS, while MyLotting.
I will be thankful for more as the day progresses.

Aww Valerie. I wish your son didn't have to give you a demand to be there a week from Sunday. Glad you had a nap, and a productive day with writing. Twinky is adorable. I'm thankful that I've made it through my first 90-days with onboarding at Goodwill, and I had Danielle as my job coach by my side. Though my case will be coming to an end soon. So bittersweet.
