This is it.
Finally, this day has come. My daughter will be having their Prom Night tonight. We are preparing ourselves now as I made an appointment with a hair and make up artist. I am not one who is very familiar with makeup.
Last Monday, they had a graduation pictorial and we were up by 4am. Somehow I succeeded with the makeup with all the tutorials in YouTube that I watched overnight to learn. So for the party, I prefer a professional to do it.

I'm sure your daughter looked gorgeous for the graduation pictures and will look just as beautiful at her Prom Night.
Did I ever tell you that Pretty asked me to fix her hair for her Junior and Senior Proms? She had long, strawberry blonde hair... I pulled it all back onto her neck and then started twisting a small lock of hair until it made a long spring and then it pulled up to the crown of her head. I kept doing that with more locks of her hair until it was all at the crown of her head and I used bobby pins to hold it in place. It made a kind of crown on the top of her head. She got lots of compliments at both Prom nights. We took pictures of it but haven't been able to find them since we moved.

@DaddyEvil that is good. I also do that when she was younger. But I felt that I need to seek professional this time for her prom

During my time, the promenade was usually held in February.

@rakski Yes :) The last promenade I attended was Hawaiian themed :) It was held in the month of February so it was a bit chilly. Male students were wearing colorful floral shirts while some females were sporting grass skirts or Kupe.
