Maybe Allergic Reaction.

skin rash

I have rashes on my arms, on my forehead, and on my legs. The rashes on my legs are not too obvious and not too itchy. The tiny rashes appeared on my lower arms first. I have had this since Wednesday evening. I am not sure what triggered these rashes. I bought mixed nuts (garlic bread with almonds, baked corn, and corn kernels) last Sunday. I am suspecting this is an allergic reaction. I never had an allergic reaction to peanuts, anchovies, or ground flaxseed before but these are just the food I ate before the rashes came out. I also ate a bowl of oatmeal before sleeping. This morning my cheeks and forehead are quite itchy but the rashes are not obvious so I went to the dermatologist right after sending my daughter to school. But, I have to go back later at 2 pm because the doctor was out. I hope this is nothing serious.

How odd. I was going to suggest it might be stress after you shared what happened with your friends, but that was several months ago. And you’d obviously be able to tell that yourself. I’ll be curious to find out what it is. After 40 something years of loving shrimp, suddenly my dad one day found himself breaking out in a rash, and his throat closing up because his body decided he was allergic to shrimp. I hope they can give you some answers!

To be honest, I have been stressed these past few days. About those women who bullied me, one of them appeared in my dreams thrice.

@Iam_jauntyjen Oh, maybe it is that then. It’s easy for deep betrayal to start affecting us physically when we’re not expecting it. They’re really crappy people for doing so much damage one of them lingers in your dreams. I’m really sorry.

This looks like an allergic reaction, I wonder what was the food that triggered it could be the corn as well as the almonds.

I am also wondering because I enjoy eating corn bits I never had allergic reaction before. Also, I like almond milk and almond nuts. Maybe flaxseed, but I usually put ground flaxseed to my smoothie but not on a daily basis.

@Iam_jauntyjen This is weird, if you had no problems in the past, I wonder what happened.

you can try a few things to alleviate symptoms and minimize potential irritation. Avoid scratching the affected areas to prevent further irritation or infection. You can apply a cold compress or use over-the-counter anti-itch creams or calamine lotion to relieve itching temporarily.

Warm bath helped a lot. Now, my skin is a lot better.
