It's another mostly typical Fractious Friday here in the Neon Fun Jungle. As usual, the MyLot Symphony Band is here ((They aren't sponsoring this one but I feel generous, so I'll remind you, for free, that you can also see them at their regular gig nightly on Saturday through Thursday on the corner of Taylor and Market Streets in San Francisco. Not in the theater. Just out on the corner. The Failing New York Times is going to try to tell you that I'm plugging them for free out of guilt because I'm not paying them tonight, so I order you to not believe those Fake Dishonest Commies, however right they may be)). As is not usual, cause it only happens three times a month, Phil Harris, the leader of the MyLot Symphony Band, is taking the night off. Filling in for him is my friend, Desi Arnaz. If you don't speak Spanish, don't worry. He does nearly a quarter of his act in English now. Tonight's big exciting unexpected but quite welcome news comes in the form of a question from Trine Sextile, my favorite Upstairs Head Astrologer and Chief Executive Vice President In Charge Of Other Worldly Affairs, in the form of this question, "Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces: are you ready for some new moon energy?" If you're keeping score at home, the other Signs she mentioned are important but the one that really matters the most is Aquarius. And the answer is, "For Shoresy! I am ready, willing and able to be Mooned tonight! I hope it's a Full Moon. The more energetic, the better!" For those of you who don't live in Canada...And probably for a lot of you who do live in Canada..."For Shoresy!" comes from "Letterkenny" and that probably doesn't help much, so just Google it. The important thing is that if this forecast is accurate, I'm getting Mooned tonight!
