Why does Michael Jackson have a fake guitar?

Michael Jackson and his guitar

This was another display at the Wax Museum in Kolkata. Michael Jackson striked a classic pose. I was surprised at how tall he was in real-life. (I assume that the wax figures reflected the true size of each person). A look at the guitar next to him cracked me up. It had "Yemaha" written on it - not the usual Yamaha. I wonder if this was intentional for copyright purposes or it was an error.

You might be right on about copyright purposes.

He had fantastic guitarists on his team, but never played the guitar.

@pitstop I wondered about that. I’d never seen him with a guitar.

The guitar appears to be just a showcase.

Michael Jackson was not very tall, 1.75 is "average" for a Western man. I suppose that it is a mistake, you should ask.

I'm approximately the same height and when I stood next to the statue, he seemed a few inches taller. So I thought he was over 6 feet.

@pitstop They made a mistake if they made the statue taller.

I pick up those sorts of errors too. You're probably right about the copyright.

It was a minor issue. The museum itself was awesome .

Most likely an error since I knew that Michael was a great dancer and musician but as far I know he did not play guitar onstage.

I don´t think this was an error. I´m sure that your guess about copyright must be the right one.

The guitar itself looked realistically made of wax.

Yes they might have intentionally mispelled the name.

Michael Jackson was primarily known for his exceptional singing and dancing abilities rather than playing the guitar.

Michael Jackson didn't play the guitar. Why did this guitar get into the museum? I have no idea how tall Michael Jackson was.
