Good bye 2000 rupees notes ??

On 19 may 2023 RBI (reserve bank of India) issued a notice saying rs 2000 banks notes to be withdrawn from circulation. The printing of notes was stopped in 2018-19 , the reason is because the notes have reached their estimated life span which was of 4-5 years.

With a limit of rs 20000 only in any bank But It will create a huge rush in banks

@_Karan no it's not creating any rush in the bank at least not in Delhi...there is gathering but no rush...

@banksim delhi is a well developed metropolitan city what i meant was the rural villages where the banking infrastructure are not good, according to report for 80,000 people thier is only one bank
