Why are kids clothes so stinking expensive???!!!

My kids need winter clothes...but even at walmart it is like 14.00 for a sweater. THat is just crazy...I mean, they aren't going to be able to wear them but for just a bit. I go on ebay and try to buy but I can't hardly even afford that!
