My daughters have never had a flu shot. Their pediatrician has never recommended they get a flu shot. My daughters are 11 and 14 and have never had the flu.

Them getting the flu shot is completely up to you. I would never tell someone what to give their kids as far as shots go because I'm not a doctor. All kids are different and have different immunities. Maybe you could consult the doctor and see if the flu shot is necessary?? You can also try and research kids and flu shots online.

I have never gotten a flu shot, the people I know who have gotten one, have got really sick. I think it's better to let kids get sick naturally and fight it off naturally. How else will they develop a strong immune system? Instead of pop or kool-aid, make a batch of iced green tea for them to drink. It's yummy and healthy for you. Strengthens immune system.

NO.. there is no reason to, i dont care what your doctor says., UNLESS your child has some sort of autoimmune disorder.. there is no need and where children are concerned i have more friends that have had problems (either they ended up getting the flu right after the shot or ended up getting it anyways.) oso i would advise against it..
