It's now 4 months since I suffered stroke. So called friends have started to keep their distance. But I'm recovering. My hands and legs have started working again

That is wonderful that you are recovering. It has got to be incredibly difficult to get over something as complicated as a stroke. Do you feel your friends just don't know what to say to you? They STILL should be checking on you, but I wonder if they have some reason why they are keeping their distance. I hope someone is offering you the support you need right now; the support we'd all need.

With determination, you can get your muscles working again and you could regain your strength. Friends who abandon you in times of need are not true friends. Take this opportunity to weed out your fair-weather friends.

@Kianko You can get well through physical therapy. Believe you can do it and work hard for it, and you can. Good luck.

It will need some time to get well and it is better to do some little exercises everyday as it will be helpful for you to recover. All the best!
