I believe every person has their own body type. Some person eats too much then also they remain fit and slim and on the other hand, some person eats quite low but they become fat. Metabolism plays a much more important role rather than the quantity of food. Doing daily exercise also stimulates body hormones to perform better. But some changes in lifestyle I think help a lot of a person. 1- Drink plenty of water 2-Adequte sleep 3-Regular exercises including sprinting, jogging, and running 4-Empty stomach with warm water with lime and honey 5-Eating salads 6-Eating moderate amount of balanced food 7-Avoiding oily and spicy food and aerated cold drink including alcohol. 8-Sometime meditation and yoga. 9-In some cases Ayurvedic herbs and vitamin supplements of prescribed by a doctor only. What is your opinion on weight loss for the person?

The best way to maintain your weight is to eat a balanced diet and do regular exercise. I do yoga but I have stopped for a few days because of the excessive heat.

Thanks for these pointers. I try to follow them but sometimes, I am just too lazy and uncaring to follow things religiously.

I am trying my best. But my job is such that even if I take classes in the university by walking the 3 to 4 hours that I work on the computer for administrative work as I am the HOD, that adds weight for me.

I am a person with the type of weight that is easy to go up and hard to go down. Lately I've gained a lot of weight and I'm following the above steps to help me lose weight. Actually, for me the most important thing of all is being consistent. But I am a person who gives up easily in terms of diet.
