delete messages

Some of us who have social media handles which we keep up with friends, relatives, job and entertainment. What happens when someday unfortunately you loose someone. Do you go there and delete the messages you had, leave them for memories, unfollow them, . What do you do? It's so hard and tough before making any decision.

I'm only on myLot. I've left discussions/messages with departed friends just as they are and can revisit any time I feel like "seeing" them again. It's a way to gain comfort knowing the close relationship we shared... But everybody is different so no one way of doing things fits everybody. We each choose what is right for us.

Yes we are all different I agree and we handle things ands situations in very different manner. Thanks for sharing your way of doing it . How have you been anyways

@Laurakemunto No;I don't do anything like that.I read the message and then decide what to do.However I agree with you;it is very difficult to reach a decision.

I leave them as it is. I do visit the messages back to relive the memories. As for people who have hurt me...I do visit those messages as well even thou the messages hurts. Because there was a time I loved that person.

I can't delete such messages since I'd like to remember how i used to share with those friends. They may have helped me change my way of life to a better way or they may have led me out of danger. I see no reason of deleting such messages.

I don't change anything. I leave everything as it was, but certainly everyone feels differently.

That's a question for which even I don't have an answer. May be we can try deleting a few posts we had written to them. Leave a few gor memory.

Lately two departed friends have sent me messages on Facebook so for sure somebody is trying to scam me. I tend to leave things as they are.
