I wathdraw $35 yesterday from my dividends because Im running out of cash to buy for our food and pay our househelp. I have all bills covered (I use envelope method and there is cash set aside for rent, electricity etc).
I checked if it was already credited to my account, and I was surprised there is $55 there and turns out a company has given out dividends. Im so glad this will be a huge help for us. One less thing to worry about.
I am always on the lookout for small good news here and there to boost my mood. I have withdrawn me $20 accumulated earnings from myLot. I will use it for the purpose mentioned above. I have used a part of myLot earnings to buy online games LOL. They are worth it though I had so much fun playing.

Thank you for being happy for me. It helps me a lot when I know I can focus on mental health and my necessities are still taken cared of.

@yoalldudes - I am always glad when I receive a nice surprise. I was overcharged with the last gas bill. I did not even notice, it was the winter bill and we heat the house using gas.

That is great. I have appreciated the value of money even more now that I'm older.

@yoalldudes true. if we are able to earn money, we can do more and give more. i've made a few investments here and there but have not been diligent enough to monitor earnings/deficits. i'm more of a saver. i'm quite good at setting aside money.

Although so many things are more important than money, it is a great enabler. We can buy medicines, gifts of which life would be miserable without.
Only the future will tell if I had made good investment decisions. For now, I'll take what I can.

Good for you, you were able to salvage it. Sometimes when I clean and find coins I thought of it as my fee for cleaning LOL.

@yoalldudes Music always generates a nostalgic feeling for me. The era when as a kid, we were not aware of so many nasty on goings....innocent era...when we always had that feeling that god will ensure that nothing goes wrong with us....no injustice is done to us...I love music for many reasons...apart from this feeling of safety if I can all it that.

I used to love music so much in my younger years its such a don't care much for it anymore except for relaxation like Parisian music, Solfeggio music or Lofi music.

@vandana7 I have also been feeling nostalgic lately, things related to when I was younger. I see what you mean, I connect in other ways like stationery, memories, vintage things and people I know from those years.
