Body pains!

Philippines
June 14, 2023 6:54am CST
Recently I have been experiencing body pains, to the point that sometimes I can't even stand up nor walk because of too much back pains. I've been into pain killers for almost a week now. Maybe this is because of too much traveling using mototcycle everyday. I am in bed rest and I sometimes I'm forcing myself to sit up and stand up and even walk because I have to go to the bathroom.

You might ask your hubby to gently rub your back for a while and see if that helps.... If it hurts too much to let him rub your back, you might think about seeing a doctor. You can also try putting ice wrapped in a cloth on the painful area or, try a cloth dipped in warm water on the painful areas and see it that helps. It shouldn't keep hurting after you're off the motorcycle for a while. I hope you feel better soon.

Rubbing an ointment sometimes helps but most of the time it's very painful. Next week I'll be seeing my doctors for some painkillers prescription again and maybe will conduct more tests.

Try soaking for 20 minutes in a hot mineral bath using epsom salts. That usually works for me. Riding a motorcycle can cause muscle tension especially when your have to lean to make a turn. It might look small but it is a heavy machine.

Hot bath usually works for muscle pains. Hope you feel better soon. I've had my own share of body pains the past several years. Massage, hot baths and daily exercise work for me.

If you have severe body pain then definitely makes discomfort and irritates. You need a good massage. Taking excess painkillers may have side effects on your kidneys.

I'm sorry to hear what you are experiencing right now. If it's really difficult to deal and applying liniment and taking pain relievers are no longer that helpful, it's better to consult a doctor for further evaluation.

Are you still having the menstrual problems? Often pain, especially back pain, and the lower half of your body are in extreme pain when you have a prolonged period. Rest is definitely good for you, but I am sorry you still have to experience this. I hope cysts are not causing this, but I can't remember if you mentioned that or not.

@princessmarie I have PCOS too, so the body pain sounds familiar. I’m glad you can see your OB next week, since you are so sick.

If those body pains persists, then you definitely should see your doctor. Taking pain killers too for prolonged period has its harmful side effects to the body too.
