Yes, this makes me sound like a handy carpenter's assistant. Well, yah, I guess. But then the question will come into your mind. How did that doorway trim get broke in the first place? I wasn't going to tell you. Then, Pinocchio's nose started getting longer so, I had to tell the truth It was dark in the front entrance as I reached for the doorknob. When it wouldn't open, I gave it a hefty jerk. I didn't realize, Jay had the chain safety lock attached to the door frame! Jay immediately turned on the porch light and looked to see what happened. Oops, I'd broken the left side of the door frame it was laying on the floor No, I didn't get in trouble, but I certainly did get a major dirty look. Today's mission, Jay had this piece of wood propped up against the wall. He had planned to fix it. After he left for town, I nailed that strip of wood back in place. I will never open this door again, without visibility(unless I'm sleep walking). Photo: Mine, fifteen minutes ago

Don't you hate when things like that happen? I feel so guilty when I do something like that. I'm glad it was an easy fix.

I didn't mean to break the door frame, it was an accident. Yet, I got mad at myself for doing something stupid!

@kobesbuddy Yes of course. But you wouldn't have left it that way though some people would have.

If we left it that way, our rent deposit wouldn't get refunded, when we leave.

It was just a matter of nailing the wood back in place. All the nails were still in tact.
