Off to Guitar Center.

I spoke with my niece for a couple of hours last night. The circumstances are not the best (a death in the family, which I will discuss in another post), but it was great to talk with her. Right now I am psyching up for a three hour stint at Guitar Center. It feels like it may be warm here today (I have not checked the forecast), so maybe I'll get to cycle AND swim this afternoon. I need to attend to my tired old body. That's all I have for right now. Of course, I must mention breakfast. I had two slices of bacon and one egg. There will be doughnuts at Guitar Center. How is your Saturday going?

My condolences. I woke up too early after staying up too late, and I am tired. Finished a couple of agendas that I needed to do, downloaded on to MyLot majorly, and now I'm just goofing off. I need to ready a really large agenda for Wednesday night's meeting, but I'm waiting to see if anybody responds to my great American novels...

I’m sorry to hear that, but I’m glad you got to hear from your niece. You’re probably the cool uncle. I saw my sister, brother-in-law, and my two nieces and nephew today. I think my brother-in-law talked about documentaries for an hour. So I’m good for at least three days.

@jstory07 At least you didn't paint them in rainbow colors. I actually had a parent in Oakland who would not let her 4-year-old son use pink or purple crayons. Sigh.

My condolences to you and your family, pony. I hope you had fun at work. I'm awake and playing on myLot... Pretty is deciding if she feels like going out and doing some of the mowing. If she does, I'll go out with her and pull some of the weeds ahead of the mower.

@TheHorse It's still too hot to go outside unless we were going swimming which we aren't as there aren't any pools or a river close to us. I'm sorry... Do you get that kind thing often?

That sounds like a "bonding" time. I hope it was fun. It's warm here, and my lessons were good. But I had to play "therapist" to a colleague who lost a favorite student. I love it when people take their work seriously.
