Workout Done

Hello all, I thought I would update you all on how I am doing with my journey so far today. I woke up and saw that my weight was back up, I know I had way too many calories yesterday. For now I will only have 2 meals a day, then maybe a snack in the evening. I did not do low carb today, I want to get back to it, but it is just hard when you are a carb addict. I am going to try to re-commit back to doing low carb after the 4th of July. We have a big 5 day event for the fourth which includes food trucks around our town square park. Anyways; the point of this discussion -- I did a 30 minute workout just a little bit ago. I was going to try to do 20 minutes, 2x - but I was able to do 30 minutes. I will try to do another 30 minutes this evening and that will give me a full hour. I will also share the workout video I did (I also did part of another one since this was less than 20 minutes). Have you worked out yet today, if you do? What do you do? I like to do these kind of videos because just walking is boring to me, plus I can't walk very far these days. My back did not hurt during this workout like usual, although my legs were screaming at me Edit: The link will take you to the workout video, not just youtube

@MommyOfEli2013 I know something that might help you with carbs. When you are fixing potatoes at home or your grandparents cut them a few hours before you are going to cook them and soak them in water. That draws a lot of the starch out without affecting the flavor of them. We both know you will not stop eating them so that could help.

@wolfgirl569 Well I usually have them in the form of fries. So not sure I could do that lol. I have heard of that, but never tested it. We never have boiled potatoes anymore, and if we have mashed it is the instant kind.

I do stretches, lift light weights and walk eight thousand steps a day. You’ll enjoy walking after you get used to it.

@RubyHawk Well if I don't like it, then I won't be doing it. For health or not. I worked out for an hour today, have 8k steps at the end of the day

That is a lot of steps to walk. But that is good. I would never enjoy walking, I know myself.

That really does look like a good workout, and I love that she didn’t cut out the part where her dog came in. It’s also encouraging to see an instructor who looks healthy, not like a stick. I don’t want to be a stick.

I like that she shows how to modify the moves too. But that was cute about the dog lol. But yes that is true....I wouldn't mind having a body like she does. Would be a huge improvement for me.

I use a free appp and like to do several short hit workouts. Allows me to do different things so my body never gets bored, and hells me burn those calories.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yeah. It tells me what exercises to do as the workout progresses. However, the only problem and gripe I have, it doesn't announce the first one.

I'm glad you worked out. It's good to keep moving. I just sit all day; and it makes it almost impossible to lose weight. Have a good evening.

I only did the one workout though. Sorry that you can't workout though. That would make it hard to lose weight, though I know it can be done...
