Korean and Japanese: Languages I Love Listening To But Don't Speak or Undertand It

Watching movies is one favorite pastime of mine and most movies I've watched are those of foreign languages. You name it all, but my most favorite ones are movies in Korean and Japanese. Not only that their tone and language are music to my ears. It's also the story that makes me watch some more but let's talk about that next time.
Going back to the language part, I don't know why hearing people speak in Korean and Japanese interests me the most. Maybe it's because I also fell in love with their culture. Maybe it's just the way they say it and the mystery behind these words with multiple meanings.
Unfortunately, there's just a few Korean and Japanese words I can remember and understand even though I've watched countless movies in these languages. Almost everyday actually and if not, it comes in a form of music. Me and my partner even collected some vinyl in these languages too.

It's French for me.
I do have the opportunity to learn French as I talk to my French friend every single day. But instead of me learning French, it's the other way around. It's him, learning the English language from me.

Korean and French. I am a K-drama fanatic, so now, I can understand a few simple Korean sentences without reading the subtitles. And I plan to learn more so I could read Hangul too.
For French, I simply find it romantic and sweet to the ears. Here was one video where I learned some simple Korean,

I agree korean language is so sweet , i watch korean dramas at times .
I used to watch japnese cartoons but its a long time now ..any way i like both

I also love korean and japanese dramas and movies. At this point I do know some words too. But I started watching chinese dramas way earlier like from 2017. So, I can actually understand and speak basic mandarin now. Also I made some friends here who are malaysian chinese and they teach me the exact pronunciations.
I also wish to learn french, it sounds so beautiful.

@piyoz000 Maybe because u watch many countries' at the same time. Like I can understand mandarin bc I watched only chinese dramas for years, like from 2017 to 2020. After the lockdown started, I had more time to try other dramas like korean, japanese, etc. That is why maybe. Also, I have chinese friends. That helps.
Ur memory is good, just listen without turning on subtitles. And u will be shocked how much u know haha.

Many Japanese songs are very pleasant to listen to, and the melody sounds very comfortable. I am not interested in Korean. I have watched some idol Korean dramas before, But now I enjoy watching Chinese ancient costume and immortal cultivation dramas

I find Chinese language a little funny especially with the tone. But it's still okay as I love watching some Chinese movies too.
