Whole wheat bread

I always put whole wheat or whole grain over the top list of ingredients of any food that I want to buy. For bread, I always prefer 100% whole wheat bread to get all the health benefits.
Whole wheat bread is usually a healthier choice than white bread since it has more fiber and fewer calories.
By the way, I got 2 packs of whole wheat bread for free from the store where I bought a pack of expired bread.
What about you?

@Butterfingers Taste of a food is more important than the health benefits that a food gives?

Rye bread is my number one favorite. I like wheat, I like the breads they sell that have many added grains and such, very good. Plain old white bread isn't good for us anyway...I just think it tastes like nothing at all. I make a lot of my own breads and sometimes rolls for company.

There are so many more delicious options of breads than just plain old white bread. I do know some people prefer it, I am just not one of them.

As much as possible I avoid packet food, I am looking to you to show me some Indonesian food. Hope in your next post

That's great that you are avoiding packet food. They are extra processed food, like instant noodles.
I rarely cook Indonesian food here as the ingredients and spices are hard to get.
But, when I get the chance to make any, then I will let you know.

I prefer potato bread but if that isn't available, I want white bread. My daughter prefers whole wheat bread.

@Shasha_ Potato bread is made with potato flour or by adding grated potato into a white bread recipe.
