It's a hot one out there

I went outside for half an hour to inspect my garden and sweep up fallen leaves. I didn't really feel the heat because the tree keeps things cool, but as soon as I came in the house, I started sweating as if I was in a sauna. I'm okay now, sitting at the computer with my little fan going. It's actually making me cold. I just checked the old thermostat on the wall and it says it's only 76°F in the house. Outside temp is 28°C/82°F. I think it's time for another tea.

I'm guzzling water more or less, it's only 98f with 15% humidity right now but it'll get hotter before 5pm. One thing I hate about mobile homes is that they're a lot like cars, it's usually hotter inside than out so coolers are a must.

It rained all the night long and it is still raining this afternoon. It's not at all hot here, not even 25ºC/77F.

It's warm in the house. I don't want to look at my thermostat. I have the patio door open and every so often I feel a nice breeze.

@BarBaraPrz Yes, they do. I have mine within arm's reach. I only need to turn it on when it gets too warm in here.

It's supposed to be 90 degrees Fahrenheit today (32 Celsius). Way too hot. I'm staying inside. Hubs has to run a bunch of errands. Enjoy your day.

@BarBaraPrz We are supposed to get storms; but they always seem to bypass our little NE corner of Ohio. We need rain!

@BarBaraPrz Yes some people think hot things are no good in the heat but they work for me.

Luckily, with all that rain we got Sunday I don't need to water the garden just yet.

I've just turned our heating off. It seems really hard to regulate for some reason. I'll need to turn it back on later - probably as soon as my husband realises it's turned off.

That's one good thing about living alone: you can keep the heating at your own comfort level.

We probably keep our air set too low because 76 would be very hot to me. That's nice that it's cooler under the trees.

Oh, I don't have AC, that's just the air temp in the house.

@BarBaraPrz That's great you can live without one, when I lived in Idaho, no one had air either. In Texas, it's almost impossible.
