Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's hot. I don't know how hot it got. The temp is starting to go down. I'm thankful for living in the United States of America. We have our problems, but we are still a great nation. I'm thankful for the relationship I have with my children. They're not perfect, but they're mine and I love them. I'm thankful for my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Savior. I'm nothing without Him. I'm thankful for my friends, virtual and physical. I'm a better person because of friends like you and my closest physical friends. I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. Only an hour, but it was enough. I'm thankful for my celebration lunch. I'm a bit over budget for calories, but not too badly. I had a T-bone steak, potato salad, and half a serving of chocolate ice cream. I'm thankful for the movies I'm watching. I finished Yankee Doodle Dandy, I'm in the middle of Independence Day, and I'll finish with Independence Day II. I'm still planning to watch the fireworks on television tonight. I'm thankful for the little bit I did on Guns of War today. It was a good day, and I hope that you who live in the USA are having a good Independence Day. What are you thankful for today? I am thankful for the clear night, and the nice view of the water. Getting here has been one disappointment after another, but I've been making it work. I am thank for pain pills which I'll be getting into no doubt to sleep tonight. I've gotten used to the changes with our stays, but high pain levels still suck.

I saw Yankee Doodle Dandy years ago. I’d love to see it again. It was old when I saw it. I’m surprised it’s still being show, I’m trying to think of the guy who played the starring role. I can see him in my minds eye but I can’t think of his name.

@just4him Yep, James Cagney, I could see him in my minds eye but couldn’t think of his name, try as I might. That’s nice that you have the film. I have a lot of old films but there’s nothing to play them on now.

Thankful for the wonderful goofy neighbor. The yard was mowed when we got home. Thankful for sweet friends at the auction. It was great to visit today. And always thankful for the wonderful friends I have here.
