Picture help needed

There are pictures that I can't upload to MyLot. They are pictures I took with my own camera but I saved them to an online photo album when we got a new computer. I added them back to my pictures on the new computer but they are not in the right format or something. They are bitmap. How can I change them back to jpg or whatever format they need to be in to upload them here? Thanks for any help.

Yeah, I've been trying for a few days to upload a picture to my avatar, and it says the picture was uploaded, but it just won't change.

did u upload it as a avatar in ur preferences or just as a photo?
