Do you have a dream that has stuck with you for many years

When I was a child (maybe about 12 years old at the time), my brother was a grown man of 25, married with 2 children, 5 and 7. One night after I went to bed and fell asleep, I had a dream that I was pushing my )little nephew on a swing. My nephew turned into a cardinal (a red bird) and flew away. The thing with the cardinal was that my nephew has red hair. Also, I don't know if I knew it or suspected it, but my brother and his wife were starting divorce proceedings. I think the cardinal flying off was my way of knowing my nephew would be disappearing out of my life for many, many years.

How sad, I’m sorry. A dream that stayed with me was one I had at the age of fourteen. It was right after the Murrah Federal Building terrorist attack here in Oklahoma City by now executed Timothy McVeigh. I dreamed several people in my backyard were in our shed, and they blew up, leaving body parts littering the backyard. Obviously, it was traumatic for kids as well as adults.

Oh that does sound traumatic. I don't do well with bad dreams at all.

I had a dream I cannot forget. It was when I was just in grade school that I dreamed of this. A big man keep on chasing me who I saw as an intruder in the house. When I saw him, I ran and he chased me until I was on the highway and I kept running. I was tired in my dream until I woke up very tired, too.
