On No Not More Haiku

Yeah, here I go again 1/. Living the moment As fleeting as a mayfly I need much longer A sense that the now is too short to get fixated on 2/. Open mic poetry Don't read out many Haiku Harder to take in Audiences tend to react like there should be more - easier to read as complete on the page. 3/. Only bullied once No one takes it serious Before the repeats Ties in with recent apologist claims made to me that offences towards me are not proper bullying because they are not an ongoing pattern of abuse. If someone stealing off you once is a thief, someone bullying you once is a bully. 4/. Custard pie to face Fails to lightten atmosphere In contempt of court Has the speaker actually custard pied a judge? Has a joke backfired and been treated as assault? 5/. My life's a clown car Falling to bits in transit Not very funny Hopefully self explanatory circus analogy. Arthur Chappell

I think we can learn a lot about a person in reading their poetry and the descriptive words they use.
