My Kids Are Driving Me Crazy

We had our dinner a while ago and my daughter and my grandson both are drinking everything else but the water they need. My daughter went over to the convenience store to get my grandson a cold pop. She called us from across the street. She was overheated and my grandson went to get her and bring her home. I'm sure glad she had her phone with her. They are having a cool drink of WATER right now. No matter how many times I tell them that pop and juice and tea and coffee is not WATER. It's 100F out right now. She won't be allowed out again today. She's manic and just goes and goes until she drops. I will just stay here and play on my computer.

You need lots of water when it is hot outside. You are right other drinks are not water.

Sometimes you just have to force yourself to drink water. I'm not a fan of it but will drink it when I need to. I don't like the water flavoring for water so I just suck it up and drink the water. All liquids have water and can keep you hydrated it's just not going to do as much for you as water. When it's really hot out I make a point to force myself to drink water.

@celticeagle I've never enjoyed water but I think a lot of it is because I grew up with well water which didn't always taste the best so it kind of ruined water for me.

I don't blame them. Water isn't good... there's no flavor and I wouldn't drink it, either.
