High heat is expected in the Bay Area. The marine layer won’t help for the next couple of days. In the inland valleys it should be in the triple digits in temperature,and in the South Bay it could be in the 90s. It will be a Spare th eAir day as well.

It is 88 here and suppose to be in the 90's here next week. It is hotter in other states.

It indeed is hotter elsewhere. Arizona is setting an unenviable record for consecutive days of highs over110 degrees.

This is when the heat and smog combines usually. People are advised to useless electricity, drive less, don’t barbecue, and use public transit. Sometimes fares are free on these days.

It's a pretty high temperature, you'll be facing this week. August is quite often a very hot month, in Michigan. But this year, I don't know what will happen.
