John Belyea who is a driving instructor in Madison Heights Michigan was outside of Lamphere High School on Saturday eight days ago to go to the bathroom heard noises as he walked into the high school that he thought it was cats fighting. John was shocked to see a young infant who was in a car seat and a blanket and a one year old infant abandoned by a ruthless adult. John called the local police to report the incident. The local police came to the high school area behind a brick wall. At this time the case is being investigated by the authorities who do not know if a parent was responsible. It is not clear if charges against the person who left the two infants outside of the high school building will be charged with a crime. The only clue was that a note was found at the scene but for obvious reasons the police are not going to release the words of the note. It is a shame that someone would someone leave their children outside of a school building. Sorry to share a story that did not have a happy ending this time. Link is pennlive,com/nation-world/2...

It was dangerous to leave them there, but they are better off now than in the hands of someone who would just abandon them at a school. I guess we have to be grateful for the little things in tragic situations like this.

@Deepizzaguy maybe it's the cost of living, I really don't know why one can abandon her baby I hopefully, the babies will grow in good condition

I have heard about being able to leave a baby here in Colorado in the first 72 hours after birth to a fire station or hospital staff but not leaving two babies so dangerously like this George. Thanks for sharing this, it is an important story.

That's very, very sad. Perhaps the person was desperate at the time.

Probably what happened to the person who left the infants outside of the school building was dealing with severe problems at the time.

it's terrible when parents leave their baby in the car. I can't imagine how the air in the car is going to damage a baby's health. if the car was tightly closed it would be starved of oxygen. if opened, then the cold weather of the night will hurt the baby

What kind of a thoughtless idiot abandons such young children, They should be locked up and the key thrown away and the kid put up for adoption,

It's so sad they abandoned the children that way. I hear so many stories like this on the news people admonish people if they're going to do that, take the child to a hospital or church. I hope they find good homes for the children.

I am in agreement with you that a child should be taken to a hospital or church and not out on the street.

That is horrible and the person or persons should be prosecuted to the extent of the law.

I am in agreement with you that the person who left the infants on the street should face a severe punishment from their actions.
