I was born in 1961 and when I was 12 years old we still didn't have cable TV, I not even heard of it, So I don't know when it was even made. All I know if we had 1 TV and it had rabbit ears (antena's) and we had to put foil on them and twist them around a lot just to get 5 channels running, if we were lucky!.
Also we had a black desk dial phone then, later we got a white slimline push button phone! We thought we were cool then! Now we all have cell phones.
About a year ago I was on a Disney World You Tube live video chat and the man was walking a long on the Boardwalk area where there are some bakeries and he said he wished they had Smellavision so we could all smell the wonderful smell of the cakes. Then I said that I would rather have Travelvision then I could just step into my TV and be there, lol
I have a friend that I have known since I was 5 years old that I talk to daily that lives in Georgia and I live in Virginia and I was telling her today about that and she said yeah to at Time Travel to it after I said, we could go to Disney World and Graceland. She added that idea, so we could go to Graceland when Elvis was there.
And I said, "Yeah and we could go to Dodge City and go see my childhood hero, Marshall Matt Dillon! We could go back and see our husbands, other family member's and more.
If we had that technology who would you go see and where would you like to go?
Lol! I told here ,"Yeah they will come out with that one day! Probably the day after I die, lol"
* Not my picture, I got it off searching for pictures online. That was not my phone number.

We had an outdoor antenna but only got three channels; 3, 10 and 27.
I was born in '63 and didn't have cable television until I was 24 years old.

@dfollin I got cable in 1987. But got rid of it after I got divorced from my first wife. I watched regular OTA channels for years.

I was born in 1951 and I don't think we had even a tv until the later part of that decade. I didn't even start getting into computers(having one) until the mid-80s and that was dial-up only. I remember the rabbit ears and the little red tv mom bought. We had the dial phones too. A black one. My grandparents had an old model phone and we had to give it back to the telephone company when they both passed.
Travelvision would be nice but I am thankful for the internet so I can at least see some places I'd like to travel to. Smellvision would be horrible cause then I would want to eat these things.
This is one reason I would like to be able to go into the future to see if any of this stuff has been invented.

I would go back to the 60s and 70s. I would also undo something that I did in the 70s. Enjoy your day.

I guess I would go back to the 1970s to meet my late mother when she was a teenager (she was born in 1959). I’d like to know her before her health got bad. I thought I might want to visit the 1950s, but I don’t want to witness any more racism than I already have. Can I just see the fun stuff from the 1950s? I can’t go back to a time without an accessible air conditioner!

My parents had such phones. When I was a teenager in the 1970s I surprised my mom with a Garfield push-button phone. Going back in time is one thing and it would be interesting but at least memories and photos can take us back there for now. I often wish my childhood could have been taken on videotape. I do have home movies on video of me and Martin and our life in Latvia. Now that is really something to hear and see because I hear his voice and it feels so strange,
