A Lovely Afternoon

The day started out sunny and quiet and since the mad roofers have disappeared for now the cats thought it would be a safe day. Then came the street repair guys. They parked their big trucks in our little street to go and repair the big main street that runs past the house here. So of course with digging and all that comes with it there was considerable noise but not as much as those banging roofers made. After they all left Freddie bravely came forward and crack, a loud thunder boom rent the air. He has been missing since. I think he finally went underground so to say and just gave up. Then the rain left and a golden sun came out and took a photo of how nice the golden afternoon looks on the palm trees that are lined up in the property next door. I took the photo from my front porch.

@Kandae11 both cats are rather spoiled because the whole house here is so quiet you could hear a pin drop. So they even jump on Mondays and Thursdays when the noisy garbage trucks come around,
