Since my family couldn't affort to buy the school lunch I brought my own. A small pack of raisens, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and a few pretzels. I never got any money to buy milk. What did you bring to school everyday?

Usually, it was just a sandwich, piece of fruit, and they told me to get tap water from the cafeteria. I didn’t like milk, so I wasn’t ever tempted by that. I remember tuna sandwiches, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, although I wasn’t fond of the latter.

School lunches weren't available when I went to school. I took sandwiches but later would buy my lunch from the tuckshop opposite the school.

It was the same thing every day. Cheese Whiz sandwiches and a thermos full of Tang orange juice.
