Rainy day

Thank goodness we are having a rainy day. Our plants are loving it. You can almost see them dancing and drinking up this life giving rain. I am loving it also but...my poor Luke is not so happy. Luke is our little chiweenie, I am pretty sure I spelt that wrong. Anyway he hates to get wet. We keep telling him that he won't melt but he stills acts like he will. Do you have a dog that does not like the rain? I am happy to be on here today. My computer decided to not cooperate with me so I had to spend some time trying to persuade it to be good to me. How is your day going?

Good to see you again. We don't have dogs anymore. Sniff, sniff. They always wanted to be outside....cold, hot, rain, snow..... My day is going OK. Waaaay behind on MyLot today. Enjoy your day.

Oddly enough Luke likes to be outside in all kinds of weather, except rain. I am so far behind on Mylot I will never catch up. After my sister-in-law lost her last dog she decided she would not get another. It is too hard when they pass.

@HazySue It's too hard when they pass; and at our ages, we could go anytime and not know who or if the dogs would be properly taken care of. So we decided no more dogs; but I miss having a dog terribly.

I'm not sure my fur babies hate nor love the rain. I never let them out when it is. They hate the thunder though.

Actually, the rain went away about an hour after I posted. It would have been nice it it had stayed for a day or two. Hope you get rain soon.

It rained a lot here on Monday and Tuesday, the past two days have been windy and cool. I like this cool temperature.

I am in total agreement about the coolness that the rain can bring with it. I am a person who loves the lower humidity and coolness.

@LadyDuck Absolutely. That is one of the reason we moved from Florida and into upstate New York. The humidity doesn't seem to be so bad here.

@just4him I had thought about upgrading to a Windows 11 but I am so used to Windows 10 that I am unsure about adjusting to it. Is is easy to use? What do you like about it?

@HazySue It's an adjustment just like everything else. It's easy to navigate. I only need to remember the start icon isn't on the end anymore but in the middle.

I think you spelled it right! My current dog, Sadie, doesn’t mind getting her feet wet, but the Chihuahua I had before her sure did. Annabelle did not appreciate getting her little paws wet at all! Do you mind sending us a little rain this way, please?

I would love to send some rain to you but alas, the rain has left me. Maybe not liking to get their feet wet is a trait of the Chihuahua breed. What kind of dog is Sadie?

Poor little Luke. I can understand his unwillingness to get wet. My dog isn't afraid of the rain but she runs out , quickly does her business and then runs back in. Today we have thunderstorms in the forecast but so far the sun is playing hide and seek with the clouds,

I think it is. Sometimes he seems confused when we are talking to him. He watches us speaking and tries to figure out what it is that we want.
