Hey everyone, how are you all doing? Well I hope... Today started off not so good, woke up with a very low blood sugar - 49! Last night before bed it was 69, so I had a small piece of chocolate hoping it would just keep it level but nope....I woke up feeling weird and very sweaty so checked my sugar and it was very low. I had some of this snack cake thing and brought my sugar up to 109. At 11 AM I had my annual eye doctor appointment. They check the pressure, and check my "rhetinopothy" I guess that is what you call it. He mentioned something about small aneurisms....but that the issue from last year is looking a little better. Least it is not worse. My prescription didn't change again...so no new glasses. After that we went to lunch at a place her called Carl's Jr. I think in some states it is known as Hardee's. I normally planned to have just a bunless burger, but I was still not feeling the best from the low blood sugar so I got chicken tenders. The meal came with fries but I only had a couple of them. So I still didn't do horrible. What was amazing though, somebody behind us in line paid for our meal! He was so kind, and we were just lost for words. That's happened a couple times....I just can't thank people enough when they do that. Also, the restaurant gave us extra food because our order was taking longer to come out than normal, they gave my husband an extra burger and me three more chicken tenders. Not sure if I will eat them or let my son have them later. Hope you have had some good things happen to you too today, or recently (or soon). The image is mine, an art piece I did - felt fitting for the day. Even if it is gloomy and rainy outside. It's only 72 degrees right now! What do you think of the piece?

Your art pieces seem to be getting better and better, and they were wonderful to begin with. I’ve had a lot of cool things happen lately, and I’m kind of amazed. I’m thankful for the blessings. Only, I just got a very dramatic text from my sister telling me she’s never talking to my dad again. She has been fasting all day, and I think her flair for dramatics has risen up. She needs carbs, Courtney!

Glad you like this design, it's not the most recent one I have done just haven't shared it yet lol. That's good to hear that you have, that's always nice to have them happen! Especially when it feels like something good is needed. Oh my! I am sorry to hear that....some people can say crazy things that they don't mean in times like that....when they are "hangry". Maybe she needs food at least for sure...

@MommyOfEli2013 Absolutely! My poor dad doesn't even know she's angry, but I predict in 24 hours it won't matter. Your lunch sounded tasty. It is Carl's Jr. here now, but 20 years ago it was Hardee's. It's weird.

@AmbiePam Hopefully that is right and she won't be in 24 hours. Lunch was good, especially since it was fresh (and free lol). That's weird that it would change from Hardees to Carl's Jr lol.

I'm sorry your blood sugar was so low. I'm glad you got it back up. I'm glad your eyes are doing well, and you don't need to change your prescription. That was nice of the person to pay for your meal. I love the rose.

It's okay, although much lower and I would have had to go to the ER. I am glad too, although I just gave up on the rest of the day. Well I still have some issue with my eye, but at least it has not gotten worse. My prescription hasn't changed in a very long time Glad you like the rose! And yes that was very nice of them.

Your artwork on this post is very good. Despite a heat warning in my area, I am happy working at home despite the weather outside under a heat warning until 7 pm local time.

@MommyOfEli2013 That is true since working outside during a heat wave is bad news.

@MommyOfEli2013 I know how that is. Leo had to be so careful to take his insulin right on time.

Low blood sugars are no fun...although high sugars aren't either. Tonight I am feeling the high I think. Glad you like the flower and rainbow

I'm glad you went to your eye doctor. It's important to get your eyes checked, especially with diabetes. I have glaucoma and must have my eye pressure checked every 6 months. How nice that you got your food paid for and got extra food! Love the art piece. Enjoy your day.

I'm sorry to hear that your day started off on a low note with a low blood sugar reading. I know how scary that can be, especially if you're not feeling well to begin with. I'm glad that you were able to treat it quickly and get your levels back up. I'm also glad to hear that your eye doctor appointment went well. It's always good to hear that things are looking stable, even if there are some small aneurisms. And I'm happy that your prescription didn't change, so you can keep using your current glasses. It's so nice to hear that someone paid for your meal at Carl's Jr.! That's such a kind and generous gesture, and I'm sure it made your day a little bit brighter. And the fact that the restaurant gave you extra food is just the icing on the cake. I love your art piece! The colors are beautiful, and the overall mood is very peaceful. It's definitely fitting for a day that started off a little bit rough, but ended on a high note. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!
