I can't sleep

It's 3am and I can't sleep.
My mind just won't stop tonight.
I have a dear friend flying over from Vienna next Wednesday for 3 days and my car is at the mechanic.
All I can think of is, what if it doesn't get fixed by the time she arrives.
I won't be able to take her to places, like the beach or out for meals out of my town
Why am I like this. Such a worry wart
I hope I can eventually go to sleep and everything will be sorted in time

I can relate. I saw a T-shirt that said: Hold on. Let me overthink this.
Because I can do that at night if something is on my mind, and I don’t fall asleep immediately. I hope you are able to relax. You’re going to find a way to have a good time.

Try to get some sleep, dear. Maybe it will help you to think more clearly and you can make alternative plans for your friend's visit. Good luck!

I have those kinds of worry when friends come to visit. Usually, everything works out just fine. But I still worry, anyway.

I feel your pain since I have doctor's appointment scheduled for the end of this month and next month as well. At least my insurance company will have transportation for me to meet my appointments.
