LOL is being replaced by a more intense emotion which has readily found its place among emotions by public demand and that IJBOL LOL as you know is to laugh out loud but these days youngsters do a better job of it and IJBOL means I just burst out laughing. In the world of youngsters they expect this reaction to replae LOL. What about you? This link has the image of IJBOL

I wonder if IJBOL will replace LOL. It's two more letters to type and five words to remember instead of two. I'm getting today's young people are too lazy to adopt the longer, more complicated acronym.

You have dealt with boys and I suppose you should know better but there is also this craze for going in for something new!

@allknowing I'm doing my part to help IJBOL take hold. I used it in reply to one of Horse's posts.

@allknowing No since I am old fashioned when it comes to using words used by young people today.

I text with younger people all the time and none of them have ever used IJBOL with me yet. They all use LOL. When I used LMFAO in a text a few days ago, two 18 year olds ask me what that was supposed to mean. I think the younger generation is too lazy to learn any of the longer acronyms.

I rarely use acronyms like LOL, LMAO, or LMFAO. I prefer to use emoticons or emojis to express my emotions. I use emojis almost in every chat. My friends call me an emoji lover because of this.
