My first sunflower of 2023!

My first sunflower of 2023 is the one I thought might not make it. It was broken in several places, but I wove it through my lattice work and nurtured it, giving it extra water and Miracle Gro Quick Start. I hope to hit the road tomorrow and may not see it in its prime next week. But I am glad it survived. Isn't it beautiful?

I'm so jealous - not of the sunflower but the fact that you got a photo to load! And I see your next one has a photo too!

I just uploaded a really cool and silly photo of the radio I'm working on. I have no idea whether it "took." I hope they can fix this glitch.

Oh, that's cool. The one you thought wouldn't make it made it. The nursing did the trick.

@TheHorse I had just told a friend that the saying that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks can be wrong. I’ve definitely learned how to do some things in recent years.

@DaddyEvil It's still looking good today. My friend Nataly (about whom I wrote The Moth Song) "doesn't have time" to water my plants while I'm gone. My neighbors Bob, Austin and Sukesh will do their best.

Oh yes, those flowers are beautiful and I see that I guessed right saying that the broken one would have survived.
