Squabble with a Vendor

Due to an upcoming big celebration of our town next week some ambulant. vendors are already setting up their stalls. This morning I really had a bad day when one vendor refused to vacate an area which we don't allow because it's a corner area and it's a pedestrian lane. She said she's not moving out. She said she asked permission but it's not true. She's not afraid of the police.

She won't leave, she's not afraid of the police. If she insists then we will put a barricade on the area.

That is one of the things that I don't miss in the Philippines. Not only are they putting pedestrians in danger, but also themselves. I know and I understand that this is their livelihood, and I respect their choice to earn an honest living during this tough time, but sometimes something's got to give. Maybe if they were given designated spots, it wouldn't be too bad. But then again, they want prime spots for more access to customers.

Exactly, hard headed. They insist on what they want. I told her in a high voice to vacate the place but she insists. I deal with many hard headed people every day, lol.

I think we need to report her. She tends to be abusive with her own right, which is not a good thing.
