Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. Nowadays, women are treated equally in almost every country. It takes me immense pride to say that today, 26th August is "National Women's Equality Day". It was first celebrated in 1973 in USA. The date was selected to the day in the 1920s when Bainbridge Colby, who was the Secretary of State at the time, signed the proclamation that gave women in the United States the constitutional right to vote. Today, women’s equality has grown to mean much more than just sharing the right to the vote. Organizations such as Equality Now and Womankind Worldwide continue to work to provide women across the globe with equal opportunities to education and employment, pushing against suppression and violence towards women and against the discrimination and stereotyping which still occur in every society. I hope and pray that Women across the World living in different corners are given Equality Rights and are treated respectfully. Let me know your thoughts about it. I wish all lovely wonderful women here "A HAPPY WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY TODAY AND FOREVER". Have a good day. Take care.

I wish the women in the Middle East were given equality. I am thankful for the progress that has been made, but there is so far to go. I’ll just be thankful for the rights and freedoms we do have.

It feels like that but it isn't the case. There are still some places like in villages wherein women doesn't have equality
