Most of you know that my sister in law moved out of her house and she sold it to this woman that lives here in the same village/town. Well I'm sitting here watching her just tear out everything from the house and it was the last house we spent time with PJs mom in. It's so sad that it went to a complete stranger and not us.

Would anyone in your family have been able to buy it instead of the stranger? The house we grew up in went was sold to a stranger but all my siblings and myself had already moved out. My parents bought a smaller home closet to town. That one my brother now owns and rents out to our youth minister from church.

No because no one is around here close to the property and the family is only down to a few left, and the others don't care about it.

@MarshaMusselman yes it's very sad, the place that we have is considered condemned, so we live in our RV for the time being.

It must be difficult watching them tear stuff out of the house.

It kinda is, with life getting so busy I didn't even realize it would of been PJs moms birthday today.

I’m sorry that they are removing everything. It would be nice to keep long time family homes still within the family.

That is sad, to witness a place full of memories go to someone else.
