We don't have any plans for this long weekend, other than to rest and stay put. With all the traveling that we've done because of the move, we are looking forward to just staying in and resting. However, last night, we received notice that the buyers of our house accepted our counteroffer. So we need to go back there and empty the house. We still have some stuff in there, and of course we will make sure that no trash is left for the new owners. The husband wants to do this today as he is returning to work next week. I admit that I am not looking forward to that long drive again. I am still sore from all the lifting as well. But of course, we've got to do what we've got to do. As I am updating my planner, I noticed that I wrote down that La-Z Boy will deliver some of our furniture today. I told my husband about it, and he completely forgot about it. So we agreed that he will go, meet up with his brother and mom, and I will stay to receive the delivery. His brother and mom are already planning to come up here on Sunday to gamble - it's their mom's favorite past time. She's already 95 years old and that's all she wanted to do this weekend.
