While e-commerce is booming and expanding, it is also a very saturated market. You have to be able to distinguish yourself from the tens of thousands other online workers, and also have some connections or network who can spread the word about you. Afterall, word of mouth is the best marketing tool. I only have tried online selling and being an online VA when I was waiting for my US visa. The online VA gig was temporary, but it is not for me. The online selling one is more of my cup of tea, but it also has its own unique challenges.

@florelway Have you tried making videos online? Nowadays everyone is an influencer They have monetized Facebook and YouTube accounts, and they are able to earn from it. This is definitely not for me, as I was never a fan of putting myself out there, and I value our privacy and safety so much. This is why I cannot quit my day job.

I was never successful at Online selling and I don't think it's for me. I find it stressful to gather orders then arrange for courier and all these hassles. I prefer having a physical store where customer would just drop by and buy if we have the item.

@Raine38 I am not very good at it. I am. not good at taking pictures but how I wish I can. I hope I can develop the habit of doing it. Lol I am lazy when it comes to taking pictures and videos even when I am in other places for vacation.

There's a great opportunity to do online business as long as you have time. What you have mentioned are all good opportunities to earn online. Mine is writing online and vlogging.

I have heard a few Mylotters talk about their success with Fiverr, and that’s pretty great that they have been able to do so well there.

You have some good suggestions. Right now I make a small income doing surveys and writing on Vocal Media, I have also done some freelance writing but these jobs are harder to get now,
