Got The Refunds!

We have received the checks for the refunds of our plates from our former home state. This will really help with the expenses of the move, and all the transfer fees that we need to do. They are not cheap!
We never heard from them for a week, which is fine. We just want to make sure that they received our old plates and the paperwork. My husband got a call from them to check our mail today because we should have it now, and we did.

you are lucky geting refund for old plates,what is the use of the plates?they are costly?

that will the plates are eligible for a refundable deposit?
After reading the comment of 
I understood it was not just a plate but licence plate .
I think it was a big & long wait for you !
