Taking the stairs

Going up and down the stairs is my daily routine both at work and ay home. Going up and down the stairs can be a beneficial form of exercise. It helps improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthens leg muscles, and can be a convenient way to stay active in your daily routine. I saw in one store that they marked each step with calorie burned each time you advanced to another step. How about you, do you take the stairs daily?

That is the best exercise. I cannot because of my weak limbs but do it once or twice in a month

@florelway They are evenly spaced but after that accident I do not have much strength in my back and the load goes to the legs.

Yes, I take the stairs daily due to living on the top floor of my apartment building. It’s not great for my messed up back, but when I lived on the lower floor, the people above me were so loud they’d make my migraines worse. So, stairs it is. Like you, I just consider it beneficial exercise.

I do not usually walk on flight of stairs every day, but I do hike. Since I am living in the mountain, the brisk walking turned into hiking instead.

I walk every day for at least 10 minutes. I walk longer when the weather is fine. Would love to take the stairs every day but we live on the 4th floor and it's much easier and faster to just take the elevator.

10 minutes daily walk is sufficient. If you want to bend your legs you can take the stairs up to the second floor and then take the elevator from there.

That's good. I take the stairs up to the second floor. .If I have to get to the third floor or higher I prefer taking the elevator.
