Our new neighbour

Looks like these new neighbours are keeping a zoo. They have chickens, cats and a dog. Not many you might say but that rooster will start crowing any time in the day and night and that poodle will not stop barking Luckily we do not hear the cat's meow. The place where we live has no sound pollution and this household spoils it all. As I am posting I can hear their rooster crowing away non stop Do you have good neighbours?

Well, yes and no. My next door neighbor wants to make trouble with anyone he comes across if he thinks he's in the right.

@allknowing Sometimes my husband eggs him on because he doesn't know the meaning of 'let it go'.

I recently got a new neighbor of sorts. I say of sorts because he is the boyfriend of the woman who lives on the floor below me. He is loud, uncouth, and I wish she would dump him.

Non stop crowing and barking would drive me mad. No I do not have good neighbors..at first I thought they were, but they are horrid. Still I manage to keep them in line this time.

@RebeccasFarm And those close to that house will not even tell them that they are a nuisance - diplomacy at its best and in my case what cannot be cured has to be endured kind of a situation.

We are lucky our house has neighbors but at a distance and we cannot hear any noises coming from them, Now that you mention it, it is interesting the next door across an empty grassy yard is a two-story house with apartments. Yet, I never really see people entering and exiting and I don't hear them, I wonder who lives next door,

We do have good neighbours thankfully. I would find it hard to put up with a yapping dog.

Sounds like you are in a bad situation. I live in an apartment and don’t know my neighbors. They are quiet so it’s all good.

Well, the landowner has some chickens in the yard. Since I am a deep sleeper, I cannot hear their sounds to wake me up. My phone's alarm clock will do this. Although my fur babies are the ones who bark when excited or playing together, If it does happen, I need to separate and let them stay at home. I do not want to create a problem because of these two rascals.

I do not mind if dogs bark to alert or while they are playing. It is those barks that draw the attention of owners when they are hungry or want to be unleashed. The owners should immediately take note.

@allknowing My fur babies need to be unleashed. They will cry so loud that everyone will be disturbed, especially the puppy.

We now have good neighbors. The last ones were awful. Thank goodness they foreclosed on their mortgage and were forced to move!

Nah, that's annoying sound. I had a neigbor before whose rooster kept on crowing so I stoned the rooster but it didn't stop crowing . Thankful rooster was butchered by the owner they also felt irritated with the nonstop crowing of rooster

I had a very bad neighbours. They steal. I have evidence of their stealing from my garden. Other thefts points towards their fishy behaviour.

Good for you. If not for this they are not a nuisance that way What I do not understand whether they do not get disturbed.
