Kiddos all around are getting sick

We have been in classes about five weeks, so they all are sharing their illnesses. Somewhat prominent right now are stomach disorders. Add in sinus, and ear infections. Top it off with allergies. Thankfully I am not usually prone to the stomach bug, I say, as I knock on wood. How are you all doing? I think we need a good cool down to kill some of the germs.

Courtney was saying Eli got sick either his first or second week of school, I think. I guess it makes sense since everyone is urging people to get the flu vaccine.

When you are around people, you catch things. When you catch enough things you become somewhat immune.

I am currently doing fine other than to work inside my home with cool weather from the bedroom fan working nicely.

My little grandson has been sick but he’s better now. He couldn’t eat for a few days. He’s back in school now.

A few Caribbean countries have a dengue outbreak - the illness carried by mosquitoes. This current strain is affecti ng children mostly.

I will enjoy it all, in moderation. After a while anything can get old.

@GardenGerty Very true! Too much of a good thing wears off eventually! I love summer but we have had excessive high temperatures this year and too many over the 100 degree mark. I'm ready for some COOL weather!

A few weeks back, the kiddies got colds. Luckily, I was not inflicted. Thanks for the blue tea that makes my immune system strong.

@GardenGerty It is also called butterfly pea flower tea. You can check it out. My cousin gave it to me and I like it.

Yes, it is. We try to get them to practice good hygeine and healthy distances, but they do not want to sometimes.
