Where does life go?

Where does life go? It is as if we are quite atheist and do not believe in the existence of a higher presence. Like when we close our eyes eternally and there are no other things that will happen. Where does life go? It is hard to tell the difference between when we have this body and when we do not have it. Where does life go? Really, When we know something about the afterlife but it is hard for us to accept what it is. We can form something out of it but for sure we can never tell that it is what it is. Where does life go, after all of this?

We become part of the earth like every other living thing. I am definitely an atheist.

It is hard to accept since what if we play life fairly since we believe in justice that is why we do good. What is the difference between doing good and bad then?

@simplfred Do thecrightvthing because it's the right thing to do. Because it matters now. We care about others now.

@paigea I think we care because sort of we believe in heaven and hell judgment.

It really depends on your beliefs as to whether there is an afterlife or not.

When you blow out a candle where does the flame go? Absolutely nowhere! We become part of nature but in the Bible it tells us that there will be a resurrection where God will recreate us. Acts 24:15 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition) 15 Having [the same] hope in God which these themselves hold and look for, that there is to be a resurrection both of the righteous and the unrighteous (the just and the unjust). Some will be resurrected to heaven and others to the earth. Matthew 5:5 (Amplified Bible) 5 “Blessed [inwardly peaceful, spiritually secure, worthy of respect] are the [a]gentle [the kind-hearted, the sweet-spirited, the self-controlled], for they will inherit the earth.
