Happy Mahalaya to everyone.

For Hindus tomorrow is Mahalaya. It is called the end of Pitripaksha and beginning of Devipaksha. It is the beggining Durgapuja and Navaratri. On the day of Mahalaya, Hindus give holy water and do tarpan in the names of their departed parents in Holy Ganges river. It is considered to be a very auspicious day.
