Mario left after a wonderful working day. He came early and we had breakfast. Afterwards, while I showered and got ready to go out, he cut part of the grass. The grass was so high that he had to use an edger first. He took me to the Home Depot, to the drugstore for some pills and to another store to buy some of the kitchen gadgets I lost in the fire. The most important thing I bought were a pair of pot holders. I had been missing my old ones and I don´t know how to take out thinks with a kitchen towel. I´m going to read now. News are too terrible. See you.

It was a big fire and had to spend a lot of money remodeling it. It happened the first days of May. I wrote about it.

@marguicha I'm sorry! I'm glad you were not injured! I wasn't back on myLot in May so that is why I was clueless!! I hope you are getting things back in order now too.

It sounds like you and Mario got a lot done. A good, busy and productive day. Mine wasn't as productive as yours, but I was working by myself, so I will use that for my excuse today!

I would not have done much without Mario. He did the garden and took me to buy much needed things.

@MarieCoyle He was a dear. So I asked him to wait for me, went to a chocolate shop that has the best chocolates I know of and bought some to share with him.

I have crocheted several pot holders, I use very thick cotton and those I crochet are my favorite.

I used to have several of those. I don´t know what became of them. Then, about 25 years ago, I bought these thick giant gloves in a visit at the US. They lasted until the fire.
