Due to the bear population losing their places to eat in the forest, the bears have no choice but to enter any building like in this case Tipton Gas Bar which is located in Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island. The incident took place on Monday morning when the black bear entered the gasoline station that is owned by Jay and Karen de Goesbrandbriand who are a married couple witnessed the bear steal a pack of gummy bears and leaving the store without making a payment before leaving the store with no one being harmed. The authorities in Canada are asking the public to notify them if the public sees a bear and not to confront the bear since a bear can turn against them quickly. Personally I feel sorry for the bears, If I had a store I would place a big bucket in the back of the store or at the side with food that is edible for bears,

I hope it doesn't end up eating it. The plastic won't be good for the cute "little" guy.

I hope not either since bears eating plastic will harm them.

I am in agreement with you about the bear being a criminal.

lol Gummy bears. A perfect purchase for a bear but not very good for him. I'm glad he left without anyone being injured.

I found it funny as well that a black bear would steal gummy bears as a snack myself after knocking down the rack full of snacks.

That's a strange picture. Glad no one was in the store at the time.

That's just what we need, shoplifting bears. I wonder what it was about the gummy bears that attracted it.

That is what I was thinking that bears are now stealing food from stores since their homes are being taken away from them.

That I was thinking that the bear did remove the plastic package before eating the meal myself.
