Passengers who were aboard a Volaris flight that was in Guadalajara in Mexico on Friday afternoon that was supposed to travel to Mexico City was delayed for a period of 2 hours and 29 minutes when a swarm of mosquitos were inside the airplane while the airplane was on the ground. It was a good deal since had the mosquitos would have been bothering the passengers aboard the plane during the flight, no telling what the chaos would be like with the passengers and flight crew would have to fight off the mosquitos inside of the plane. The airplane crew were able to stop the mosquito invasion by spraying the passengers with bug spray and turning off the lights before the airplane took off from Guadalajara to Mexico City safe and sound. Even though the passengers had to deal with mosquitos bothering them, they are grateful to arrive safely to their destination. Link is upi.com/6201697129706 via @upi

I have experienced dealing with mosquitos during the blackout period in the summer of 2020 when Hurricane Laura passed over Lake Charles.

@Deepizzaguy Thankfully we don't get them that often here, it is a bit too dry, but when we get some monsoons, then they like to come out. Not fun at all.

I know what you mean since it is worse than having snakes aboard an airplane.

@Deepizzaguy I-might rather put up with the mosquitoes than the bug spray.

I wrote about this and was concerned with all that bug spray being sprayed near the passengers. I don't think I'd want to breathe in all that spray.

I can’t fathom how shoddy that entire experience must have been.

It is just as scary as being inside an airplane during a thunderstorm.

Goodness, there must have been a lot of mosquitoes for them to delay the plane.
